What are gems?

Off‑site IOUs settled directly with the creator. After the creator manually accepts the gem transactions, they will be treated as if you spent cash for content and half of the cash for exp. For example, if you spend 100 gems, you should also send $100 to the creator off site. Then after the creator accepts them, you will unlock any content in the amount spent and earn $50 worth of exp.

Earnings, fees, and referrals

What is the platform cut? For USD balance ("coin") tips and purchases processed on-site, creators receive 80% and the platform retains 20% to operate the service.
Do Gems have a cut? No. Gems are IOUs settled off-site with the creator. No platform fee is taken on Gems here.
Creator referrals: how do they work? If you refer a creator who joins the site, you earn 5% of that creator’s net earnings from coin tips (their 80%). Example: Creator makes $1,000 in coin tips → creator keeps $800 (80%), platform $200 (20%), referrer earns 0.05 × $800 = $40.00.
Who qualifies as my creator referral? Creators who sign up using your referral link (it includes your username/uid). Attribution happens at signup.
When is referral credit applied? Referral rewards are credited automatically to the referrer's USD balance after successful coin tips paid to the referred creator. Gems do not generate referral rewards.

Uploading content and editing

Upload basics

You must have a fan account or a verified account to upload.
Tap the plus (+) to select up to 4 files.

Pricing and censors

Use the bottom bar: tap the lock or pencil to open pricing and editor.
In the Access tab, set prices. In the Editor tab, create your censored content.

Dynamic censors and fractional unlocks

Censored content is dynamic by default. Fans can unlock fractions of the content, which typically reduces censor strength over time. Regions are fully modifiable.

Bypass fractional unlocks: upload a custom preview from the uploader using the upload icon in the top right of the bottom bar.

Censors/effects for fully unlocked content

Use the top bar to set censors or effects that apply when the content is fully unlocked.

Voices

Open the Voice tab to configure voices. They can be synthesized on tip or periodically.

Pay‑per‑minute (real‑time)

Select Real‑time in the Access tab to enable pay‑per‑minute content.
Region prices let fans purchase rights to show or hide a region, optionally for a limited time.
Region animation time treats the region as it would be in the Classic tab, using the prices you set for that region.

Automations

Definition: amounts sent randomly while viewing at a chosen rate.

Rate (per minute): expected number of sends per minute — a Poisson process, so timing is random.
Amount: the value attached to each send.
Example: rate 2/min → about two sends per minute on average; some minutes may have 0, others 3+.

Segmentation and tracking

Credits required: segmentation uses backend resources.

Segment a region by drawing with the Draw tool, or add/remove points.
Select the region and click Track.
To track a specific time range, click Add range.
Wait for tracking to complete; the region will follow the selected object throughout the video.
